Common questions
The audit trail records every calculation: the raw data input (e.g. utility meter read), the emission factor applied (EPA Table C-1, version 2024-v2), the calculation methodology, the date the calculation ran, and the resulting tCO2e figure. Every number in your GHG report can be traced back to its source record. The audit trail is exportable as a structured appendix for statutory auditor review.
Yes — the Professional and Enterprise plans calculate all 15 GHG Protocol Scope 3 categories. Categories 1 (purchased goods), 3 (fuel and energy), 4 (upstream freight), and 9 (downstream freight) have live integration coverage. Categories 5, 6, and 11 use structured import from expense and waste systems. Remaining categories use spend-based or activity-based estimation with documented assumptions. All 15 appear in your ESRS E1 disclosure output.
All plans include PDF and Excel export. Professional and Enterprise plans include a REST API endpoint that lets you pull GHG inventory data directly into your BI tools, sustainability management platforms, or existing reporting workflows. The API returns structured JSON with scope breakdowns, category-level data, and intensity metrics.
Subscription tiers are differentiated by data source connections and supplier questionnaire capacity, not by data volume or emissions figures. If you add more sites, more data sources, or a larger supplier base and exceed your plan limits, we'll discuss an upgrade to Professional or Enterprise. We don't charge overages without notice.
The Starter plan includes a free trial period to connect your first data source and run a Scope 1 + 2 inventory. You won't be charged until you confirm you want to continue after the trial ends. For Professional plan evaluation, we offer a guided 30-minute demo with a walk-through of your specific data environment before any subscription commitment.
